This website currently only displays information. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and protect the site.
When you request a store check, you give us a store web address and your email address. We then visit publicly available pages of that store (for example the homepage, policy pages and a sample of product pages), the same way a shopper's browser would, and produce a report. We do not log in to the store and we do not collect information about the store's customers.
We store the store address, the report and your email address. We use your email address to send you the report and to follow up about it, for example to ask whether it was useful. We do not sell your email address or share it with anyone for their own marketing. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
These providers process data on our behalf and may do so in the United States and other countries.
We keep store check data (store address, report and email address) for 12 months, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it, by emailing hello@shoppingmedic.com. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU or the UK), you may have further rights under local data protection law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Shopping Medic is a tool for businesses and is not intended for children.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will be explained here before they take effect.
